How We Work

Explore our process

Schilling Construction Inc. is led by owner Doug Schilling, who has been licensed in Hawaii since 1982 and serves as the company’s Responsible Managing Employee (RME). His decades of experience building across Waimea, Kohala, and the Big Island guide the firm’s approach to planning, construction, and quality execution.

Working alongside Doug is Cory Anderson, Construction Manager, who oversees day-to-day operations, trade coordination, scheduling, and project communication. Together, they provide experienced oversight from planning through construction, helping keep each project organized and aligned with the client’s goals.

As a fully licensed and insured general contracting company, Schilling Construction is familiar with local subdivision, county, and state requirements and procedures. That experience allows the team to navigate regulations efficiently while building responsibly and thoughtfully within the islands.
